Does an open world work for Halo? Because it’s announcement, that query is one which’s been consistently requested of Halo Infinite. Six years after the bitter notice of Halo 5, 343 Industries has dusted off the Grasp Chief’s armour for a throwback to Bungie’s unique, pointedly nostalgic for a time when Halo was only a large inexperienced man, his blue holographic girlfriend and a large open ring stuffed with prospects to discover.

What this leads to is a sport that may very well be a real return to kind for Grasp Chief—however I am simply not satisfied Halo actually wanted to be an open world.
