Stewart Gilray, a veteran game developer behind the Oddworld remasters, has died

Longtime UK recreation developer Stewart Gilray died on Thursday after contracting Covid-19 in December, stories GamesIndustry.biz. Gilray based recreation studio Simply Add Water in 2006, specializing in ports and remaster work in addition to creating unique video games.

Gilray’s recreation growth profession stretches again effectively earlier than the founding of Simply Add Water. Within the early ’90s he was a programmer on Amiga video games together with Darkmere, revealed by Tomb Raider studio Core Design, and Bullfrog Productions’ Powermonger, designer Peter Molyneux’s follow-up to Populous.
