Little Huge Journey, or Relentless: Twinsen’s Journey outdoors of Europe, blew my tiny freaking thoughts in 1994. The isometric, pseudo-3D, non-linear journey romp appeared so formidable on the time, and I vividly bear in mind devouring each preview and drooling over the shiny screenshots that graced my favorite mags. Fortunately, it managed to reside as much as my large expectations, even when it was completely too tough and elaborate for my silly nine-year-old mind.

It was a giant deal in Europe, and was adopted up by a sequel a number of years later, however apparently no one gave two shits about it throughout the Atlantic. For those who’re an American reader, then, you won’t have a clue how magical the adventures of Twinsen truly have been. Possibly it was simply too French for ’90s America. It actually was very French.
